Freejump AirS is a stirrup made of stainless steel with a plate mounted on cushions for best shock absorption. The plastic part on the inside of the stirrup is designed so that it comes loose at high loads, but it is worth noting that Air's, unlike the Soft Up and Pro + series, is not a safety stirrup.
